We came as a family of six and the Family Suite was perfect — kids on one side, grandparents comfortable, everyone warm at night. The home food was the highlight of our entire Kashmir trip. Rajma-chawal one day, rogan josh the next.

Honeymooned here in April and it was everything we hoped — quiet, romantic, tea on the lawn every morning with the mountains right there. The hosts treated us like their own children. The Premium Valley Room is worth every rupee.

Ideal location on Chandanwari Road. We did Betaab, Aru and Chandanwari as easy day trips and were back for hot dinner every evening. Clean rooms, honest people, fair prices.

The kind of peace you can't buy in a big hotel. We extended by two nights just to sit in the garden and do nothing. The crewel curtains, the wooden dining hall — it feels like real Kashmir, not a resort pretending.

Very comfortable stay with parents and kids. Parking was easy, rooms were warm and the family helped us book ponies for Baisaran at the correct rate. Only wish we had stayed longer.

Celebrated our anniversary with a surprise bonfire the hosts arranged on the lawn. Swan towels on the bed, kahwa at midnight — small touches everywhere. Already recommended to three friends.

Used the cottage as base for the Tulian Lake trek. They packed our lunches, arranged a reliable guide and kept our extra luggage safe. Exactly what trekkers need — honest and practical.

Being from Jammu we've seen many Pahalgam stays — this one stands out for warmth. Opposite Hotel Abshaar so very easy to find, but a world quieter once you're inside the garden.

Ten days in June with three generations. The dining hall became our living room. Children played safely on the lawn while we watched the mountains change colour. Best decision of our Kashmir itinerary.
